Government Advances Youth Economic Empowerment Bureau Through Stakeholder Consultations
Basseterre, Saint Kitts — The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis is advancing plans to establish the Youth Economic Empowerment Bureau, aimed at equipping young people with the support needed to launch and sustain businesses in a growing economy.
As part of the consultative process, a Validation Workshop was held bringing together stakeholders from across the public sector, financial institutions, youth organisations and the private sector. The session was convened to examine and refine the proposed framework and to validate input already collected during earlier engagements.
The Bureau represents a key component of the government’s broader strategy to encourage entrepreneurship while strengthening the long-term sustainability of micro and small business start-ups across the Federation.
