Our Approach
Small and micro businesses drive income, household stability and community confidence. A strong local idea, properly supported, can create work and keep more value inside the Federation.
Access to finance, training and mentorship remain key constraints for young entrepreneurs in small island states. YEEB is being designed to reduce those constraints by consolidating government, regional and private-sector support in one Bureau.
YEEB will work alongside regional partners — including the OECS Commission, the Caribbean Development Bank and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank — to expand training, financing and market-access opportunities for young Kittitians and Nevisians.
The Bureau is being shaped through direct consultation with youth, the private sector and civil society to ensure it serves the real needs of young people across both St. Kitts and Nevis.
