YEEB Validation Workshop Refines Bureau Framework

Basseterre, Saint Kitts — The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis convened a Validation Workshop on Friday, May 22, 2026 to advance the establishment of the Youth Economic Empowerment Bureau (YEEB). The session was held in the Conference Room of the St. Kitts Cooperative Credit Union Branch in Basseterre.

The workshop brought together stakeholders from across the public sector, financial institutions, youth organisations and the private sector to examine and refine the proposed framework for the Bureau. It forms part of the government’s consultative process ahead of YEEB’s formal implementation.

The Prime Minister underscored the immense potential of the nation’s young people and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging young people to adopt a global mindset and see themselves as active participants in an increasingly interconnected world.
